Mentors are an important part of the Training Program.  It is important to identify knowledgeable individuals who can help guide participants.

An ideal mentor meets the following requirements:

​

  • Share the goals of Jumpstart Tioga, such as reducing blight

  • Partner with Jumpstart Tioga in neighborhoods efforts to reduce litter, dumping and improve the community

  • High personal moral and ethical standards

  • Knowledge of the local real estate market

  • Proven development experience in residential real estate
